Excellent service from Robert and the staff. I'd looked on line for a watch as a Christmas present for my son, preferring to support local business I dropped in to see what they could do. Outstanding customer service! After being given some poor advice from another local jeweller who said it wasn't possible to change the setting of the antique engagement ring I had received these jewellers carefully restored my ring with a totally different setting. This made my ring much more wearable and also made the stones within a lot safer which is particularly important as this is a family heirloom of my husbands. We also decided to purchase our wedding rings here and we're given time and attention to help choose what was right for us. I would recommend this jeweller to anyone in the Exmouth or Budleigh area wanting a personal service that, in my experience, is far better than the rest in the area.
Unfortunately I received some jewellery as gift from this jewellers that I really don't like. Even though they could easily identify that they sold it they will not take it back without proof of purchase, which means telling the people I received it from that I don't like it. Obviously I am not going to do that so I have jewellery that I will never wear and can't take back. I found the staff particularly unhelpful.
A retailer who "Does not do refunds" and thinks that the consumer rights legislation does not apply to him.I purchased a pair of earrings for my wife just before Christmas.she discovered one of the posts was loose 5 days after wearing them and 10 days after purchase.The only thing on offer was a credit note or a different set of earrings NO REFUNDS.The girl in shop did her best but it was enough for me never to go here again,and I would suggest any prospective purchasers heed this warning.I did at one point ponder going to the small claims court but decided for 80 it was not worth the hassle.The next best thing is to stop anyone else having a similar experience to mine,therefore consider yourself warned.Oh and just in case the proprieter wants to revise his illegal practice of denying refunds on Faulty goods this might help. 30-day right to reject Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund - as long as you do this quickly. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you buy your product. After 30 days you will not be legally entitled to a full refund if your item develops a fault, although some sellers may offer you an extended refund period. This right to a refund doesn't apply to purely digital products though - such as music, games or apps that you buy as downloads. You can however ask for a digital product to be repaired or replaced if it develops a fault. And if this isn't possible or us unsuccessful, you have the right to receive a price reduction.
Fantastic, highly recommend, very professional and pleasant to deal with. They restored my antique engagement ring brilliantly.

Do not waste your time going here! Not at all helpful and staff are rude and patronizing. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time; they shouldn’t even get 1 star!
