The project stemmed from providing a sanitary water source in 2008 and has now expanded to penetrate grass-roots education, attempting to break the poverty cycle that stifles African communities. If successful and sustainable, the Buturi project will become a model that can be emulated wider onto the African socio-economic landscape.
