-worst bank employees. Wished the dealership didn’t go through them when i was buying a car -get a call from a guy named kevin in collection department threatening tow my car, 4-5 months after they have been taking payment. Telling me that i don’t have insurance. Well how did i buy a car if i didn’t have insurance? They said they had sent me mails for the past months for proof of insurance. They even said contacted my insurance company. I called the insurance and they never received a call from them and no proof from citadel of any calls. No mails from my end because come to find out they have the wrong address on file. I Put them and the insurance on a 3way call just to say “oh ok” he had insurance. Well next time make sure you get your staff together before you call people and threaten to tow their car away.

Honestly, I never write reviews but if I could give 6 stars I would! I’ve banked with Citadel since a teenager (almost 10 years!) and I can’t say enough good things! I’ve had fraud charges they handled quickly, got a great loan rate, ran into financial trouble and they helped and they’re always friendly even just on the phone! Only downside is I’ve moved from the area so it’s a little difficult needing ATM’s but that’s the compromise with having an FCU. Still, will probably always bank here!

This is a wonderful place to do your banking. I have opened both business and personal accounts with them for well over 20 years, and the service has been excellent. The people at the Downingtown office (the closest one to my office) are absolutely wonderful, and have been incredibly helpful by quickly and efficiently setting up any new accounts we needed. (I found the same to be true at the Thorndale off where my old office was located). Also, their CD rates are consistently higher than those of area banks!

I had a text message sent to me and phone call regarding fraudulent activity on my account. I cleared it with them that it wasn’t me. I was then told I have to call another phone number to order a new card. I was on the phone for almost 25 minutes with a Jacqueline, asked 3-4 times if the fraud detection department called me about it, twice what my phone number was, asked me twice if I have the card in my possession, and was super lifeless the entire conversation. She then told me I had to pay a 10 fee for the card????? How is this my fault that my card was hacked into??? I am not sure why it took THIS long to gather my information. Mind you this is about the 4th or 5th time this has happened with my card since banking with Citadel. Very unhappy.

So disappointed. Do not bank here! Horrible customer service. I had multiple fraud charges that were made on my account and I reported them and filed all the paper work! They now continue to tell me I am responsible for the charges almost 2,000 mind you I am a full time college student paying for my own way through college. When I communicated this to the man and told him they were fraud charges he told me I am responsible regardless and I asked me if my mother ever taught me how to budget money! I explained to him their was no possible way for me to pay for college and for charges that were not mine and he told me I have too. I am beyond irritated and heart broken that a bank would take advantage of someone so young putting herself through college. Whenever I try to call back and talk to someone they continue to ask me for payment! I am at a lost on what to do.

My tax refund was deposited in the wrong account. I went to the branch in Brookhaven gave them all the info needed to confirm it belong to my account. Now this branch is making me feel like im frauding them take time to deposit my tax refund. I know there is a protocol they have to follow. But if i give you what tou asked me for why are you making me wait for my money if i proved to you with paperwork and number. I will be closing my account after my funds are received. I feel like I'm being PROFILED!

On-Line Banking is atrociously bad! Somedays I just give up. This new system may be worse than the one that preceded it! What do you do hire a bunch of High School kids to write the programming as they snack on tacos and big macs? I am trying to pay bill now and was over the weekend and just gave up......smh
