We had been going to this store since my daughter was 4 years old (16 now). I am not sure what has happened to the store pre-covid but here is the last experience as they will no longer be getting our business. With my wife in the the store with my daughter, standing in line the lady in front of my wife gets to the register, states this is my spot, putting down a single item then walks away shopping. I look at the cashier, and state can I pay, the cashier stated, "no that lady is in front of you." Again, the lady is in the store going through racks, shopping. Mind you this is not a quick step over and grab a single item and back to the register, she completely left the line, back browsing through items. Minutes pass, my wife steps up and again wants to pay for our items. The cashier again states the other woman is in front saying, "I am so sorry we are so busy." This statement did not make sense, why keep all of us waiting in line waiting for a person to finish picking items out of racks. The cashier made the comment that "us failing to have more time to wait is not her problem." That was the final button. So, the attitude was made clear, and as such I do not recommend this store to anyone from Dance that asks for a recommended store.

My mom and I drove down to Exton for pointe shoes and were very pleased with our experience. The owner was very hands on and helpful, she explained everything to me and my mom well. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant. You could really tell they all knew their stuff when hearing them talk about the pointe shoes or anything that goes with them like toe pads. They were all very communicative. They had a huge selection of pointe shoes and other inventory. In the end we were both very happy with our experience and made us wish we knew about Definitely Dance before my senior year.

I was super nervous before entering, but it was beautiful. They welcomed me in and got straight to work on finding me the best pointe shoes. It only took about 20 minutes and they treated me with an extreme amount of kindness! I cannot explain how great this place was! Very efficient and beautiful people working there.

My daughter is in her school play and needed specific tights and leggings. The owner was there and extremely nice and helpful! I will definitely be back for all her theatrical needs! She even walked me around personally and got what I needed! Really great place!

This dance store is amazing. The ladies that work there are very friendly. They have always had the every shoe we need in stock. They have gone above and beyond to help make a shoe work for my daughter with a super narrow foot. I also love the "shoe card" program. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Absolutely horrible experience. Stopped in to buy ballet shoes. Already knew which ones and which size. Wasn't allowed to go pick them since they were busy fitting other kids feet. So I waited awhile. Fine. I finally went up and started looking for the size i wanted and the woman (owner?) was extremely rude. She said for my 3 yr old to sit down and put stockings on. I said I already know which ones we want. Not here for a fitting. She rudely got them and shoved them at me without a word. Absolutely appalling. If it weren't for the fact my daughter needs them tomorrow, I would have left immediately. I will never stop foot in this store again.
