I had a session with Gina that combined shiatsu massage and movement coaching. I had never had shiatsu before, but felt well-prepared for my session from communication in advance and through the session and found it a combination of meditatively relaxing and helpful for working out my sore hips. The movement coaching was awesome! Gina worked with me on some simple postural alignment exercises that were clearly individualized for my body and needs. She provided gentle, clear coaching that helped me notice how subtle shifts in how I held my body felt. I walked away with some simple movements and stretches that I could do at home and she emailed me with more detailed follow-up support. Gina is a gifted holistic wellness provider!

I had no idea what Shiatsu was. I've tried Massage and Acupuncture, both good healing tools, but I was more responsive to Shiatsu and found it to be a critical piece on my healing journey. I met Gina 7 years ago and have been a client ever since. Warm, intuitive and effective, I highly recommend Gina for anyone looking for long term, cumulative health benefits.

I had spent most of my life dealing with lower back pain, sometimes to the point of restricting how far I could walk or how long I could be on my feet. During this stretch of time, I sought the help of chiropractors, osteopaths, orthopedic specialists, and yoga instructors to help me mitigate painful episodes. The relief I received was typically short lived. One day, a friend suggested I try Shiatsu therapy. I had heard of it, but did not know much about. Doing a simple google search led me to Embodygrace, which led me to Gina. Over time, my sessions with Gina healed tight muscles and educated me on how to properly move my body from the ground up. My back pain began to subside until I no longer had any lower back pain to speak of. I often forget that I once had such pain until one of my boys or my husband reminds me of how things \use to be.\ Most recently, Gina has helped heal one of my shoulders from a condition dubbed \frozen shoulder.\ During any given session that you are fortunate enough to experience with Gina, you can expect that she will be fully present with a purposeful and intentional approach. She will listen to how you describe what brings you to see her, and she will listen to your body as it responds to her therapeutic touch.

I’ve had hip and knee issues for five or six years and saw two different physical therapists at different times, the last being about a year ago. In spite of faithfully doing the suggested exercises for the past year, the problem persisted. Enter Gina. She worked on the area where the pain originated and explained in very simple terms what was causing it, what needed strengthening, and what exercises would work those areas. As it happens, I was doing one of the physical therapy exercises incorrectly but would never have known that if not for Gina! She not only works on clients; she educates them. I appreciate her depth of knowledge in both Western and Eastern methods of bodywork and her very precise and understandable way of communicating that. Add to that her kindness, genuine care, and ability to attune to her clients. She is a truly gifted healer.
