Very nice Veterans Memorial located in front of the Uwchland Township campus and is along the Uwchland Trail. The Memorial has five pillars representing branches of the U S Armed Forces. The U.S. and POW flags are lit and fly day and night. They have a secure box to drop off old flags for proper disposal. The planned additions include a statue of the Revolutionary War Minute Man soldier and more commemorative brick pavers. Hopefully they will also add some shade trees behind the Memorial.
