Took my 78 yr old mom for cataract extraction for both eyes . The receptionist had a lil attitude so did I . The nurses & the drs that treated my mom are great she felt comfortable she was treated with high respect, once my mom went in for surgery she was treated gently, all the instructions were easy to follow . I would recommend this place to anyone who need the surgery for your eyes. It's a clean n covid savy safe place .

I am not very computer inclined. I had my grandson help me. I had to figure this out to thank all of the staff. So kind and caring from beginning to end. Even at the crack of down , they were excellent in treating my sister. Our entire family was nervous because of the pandemic of her having surgery. I am glad they are taking precautions measures so seriously. And I notice some patients not caring and not wanting to wear a mask properly. As my sister went in, some patient was outside complaining and yelling about instructions to someone over the phone that were given. I was observing from the car. I’m not sure why. I’m sure the staff is working hard and doing the best they can during all this. I couldn’t imagine how they are coping . I commend the receptionist , nursing staff and the doctors for their efforts. We all want to have surgery but safely. Following instructions is not so hard. Life is not as it once was . When you do not follow, that is when problems happen. I would hate for anyone to get sick because of someone else’s carelessness. My sister is doing very well and loved how they cleaned everything after each patient. It made her feel safe. Thank you

I am writing this review at 7:28am after dropping my off at 7:15am for surgery on 6/10/2020. I rarely leave reviews even after receiving poor service. However, the reception crew at this establishment is utterly horrible. The first nurse had an attitude and a half on her. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. She refused to let us talk and all she barked was “YOU JUST NEED YOUR INSURANCE CARD”. After being shouted at for a few minutes, by her, I was told to call the office so they can have my number on file. So I called and was met by another gem. This one was worse than the first. While trying to explain why I was calling, I was cut off mid sentence by the receptionist talking to me like I was a 5 year old with special needs. Never have I witnessed such anger and hostility from multiple employees in a very short period of time! It is beyond my comprehension how you can be so sour at 7:15am. Especially if you are in a role that should be focused on making the patient and their family members feel as comfortable as humanly possible. I would like to rate this reception crew negative 5 stars because they have mastered the art of incompetence.

I give this facility 5 stars. I wish I could give more. Was very nervous about my relative having surgery during this coronavirus problem. I like that they are taking this seriously. They are really enforcing social distancing. You outside until your called. Everyone wears a mask. Doors and chairs are cleaned on a regular basis. My relative explained to me you go inside and meet a nurse , they give you a brand new mask and offer hand sanitizer. You then sign in and then go inside. The person helping them to sign in was very nice and explained what they were signing in detail. Not long after you have surgery , without any other patients in proximity. Then you finish and leave with instructions. I really appreciate that they took such good care of them during this horrible time. I wish I could more stars. I felt that they were safe with them.

I have to say , my father and I were very nervous for his surgery. He is use to doing surgery in the hospitals. I had to do some research before hand and read the reviews before coming to the center also. This is a nice facility to have surgery at. There is ample parking in a private area and it’s free. No parking meters . I was so happy because I live in the Bronx . When you come in the facility , the ladies at the desk are very pleasant and welcoming. Signing in was a breeze . Didn’t have much to sign because it’s paperless. The wait time was long but they did inform us of that as we signed in . We just have patience . That’s goes with any place you go to with a lot of people . I am amazed at the amount of disrespect these other patients gave the young ladies at the desk. A lot of other patients were very rude and nasty . These people literally were attacking and screaming at the them and making comments under breathe at them one by one . All because they were not seen right away. I really didn’t understand that . It’s not their fault. I felt so bad. That’s really horrible to see . The nurses were great. It ran smooth and quickly after he went in. As soon as he came out , you could not tell that he had the surgery done. We spoke to the nurse at the end and went home . Now he can see great. I am very pleased with the experience that he had at the facility . Great service given . I gave it 5 stars.
