What a gem. Small 5 van site with no facilities but very roomy with views to die for. Nice walk to the nearest pub and village

Site very easy to find and easy access. The pitches were spacious and the views as others have agreed good with views over the arable fields to the sea in the distance. Water, refuse and amenities all clean and easily acceptable. A good if small fenced area for dogs to run around in but couldn't be described as a dog walk more an exercise area. The site is set well away from the farm and we had no contact with the owners. Presumed it to be like many other sites where the owner turns up around tea time to collect money. When this did not occur I sent an email to find out how to pay. Which received a prompt reply telling me to put cash in an envelope into a letter box at the site entrance, and when I put my payment in there was clearly another plastic bag containing 20 notes, not secure at all. I did find a laminated card attached to a post the next morning explaining this procedure. I can't agree with the comments on a pleasant walk into Coldingham as it was 20 minutes down a very busy road with no pavement for half the distance. One I was not prepared to do with my dogs. If you are using a motorhome you will certainly have to use it for any site seeing as there is nothing in the immediate vicinity. I enjoyed a walk to St Abb's Head but it was a good eight miles. The grade is docked a star because of the price. 20 a night for no facilities is too much. On this trip to the borders we stayed at three Caravan and Motorhome club sites, even with the usual facilities they were all cheaper than our stay at Bee Edge. Others obviously have enjoyed it but is didn't meet my requirements.
Very well layed out lovely views, Al is a very nice man, pitches very good size, would definitely visit again. Deb and Del
Lovely little CL five pitches on a working farm no toilets over looking the North sea Ellie and Finn loved it that's the most important part.
What a Beautiful CL the perfect base for our first week in the Scottish Borders, we were greeted with a sea view every morning over Coldingham and beyond. The Cl is spotless with all the usual needs recycling and a dog walk, Coldingham is a short walk away with a local shop and 2 pubs.It was ideal for ourselves to explore Eyemouth,St Abbs( Twinned with New Asgard) for Marvel fans,North Berwick ,Berwick on Tweed and Holy Island or to just simply relax. We are sure to return.
