I've tried all the greyhound trusts in Scotland and because where I live and requirements needed to take on a greyhound basically got told no Sonia at greyhound trust the boarders was the only one said they have dogs and will test them for requirements I need and will get back to me. So very professional and willing to help me take on a greyhound for its forever home. Can't wait for them to match me with a greyhound.

I had been thinking of rehoming a greyhound for a while and looked at all the branches online to see their beautiful dogs. I fell in love with Slinky before I met him and arranged to come and meet him, even though the Borders branch is the further away from our home than some of the other Scottish branches. Sonia, Sarah and Olivia were all very friendly and helpful, very welcoming. I found them to be very sensible in their approach. They allowed myself and my family members to visit Slinky as often as I was able to before I collected him. They were also helpful in offering dietary advice amongst other things. Even though it’s the furthest branch from where I live, when I get another greyhound (it’s only a matter of time as I have become addicted to the breed) this is where I’ll go. I can’t thank them enough for their love and dedication to these wonderful dogs. Slinky has changed my life massively for the better. My husband didn’t want a dog but now adores and dotes on Slinky. He makes us laugh and smile every single day.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Scottish Borders Rehoming. We have had two hounds from them this year and they take great care in ensuring that the right match is made. And the hounds are just perfect for us! It's a huge compliment to the way they're treated at the centre that they've settled so quickly into home life - special mention for Batty who came to us after 17 months waiting to be homed and from day 1 has just been a total star in the house. Would definitely highly recommend getting a greyhound from here, you won't regret it!

Rehomed a lovely greyhound from here. Staff are very helpful and Sonia the boss talked me through everything I needed to know. If you want a great pet dog don't discount a greyhound despite their size.

I explained to Sonia my dog experience and she matched me up with my perfect hound. She let me have plenty of time to interact with others, but I think we both knew from the start that it was meant to be. Three years later we have an amazing bond and she makes me laugh every day.
