Fabulous walk along the clifftops. The main route up to the lighthouse is not too taxing, and offers beautiful views, though you might want to go off the main route for even more sea views. I heard from others that it could be very windy but it was a nice calm day when I was there. Might be worth checking wind speeds on the weather forecast.

Sunshine or full on storm. St Abbs Head is a stunning location. Beautiful hillsides and coastline. Cliffs a-plenty and the wildlife is superb. We saw around 20 to 30 dolphins, lots of seals. So many birds of different species from snow buntings to kestrels. Definitely worth more than one visit
Love a walk around the cliff tops beautiful scenery in all weathers
Stunning views. Little uneven underfoot but 2 routes. We did the lighthouse loop (purple) The yellow route might be less uneven underfoot.
A great coastal walk with some fantastic views and the option of a more gentle amble or a bit more up and down depending on what takes your fancy ....
Beautiful place, acces via route from National Trust Reserve Car Park situated 0.4 mile away from St Abbs visitor centre. Or from public footpath along the walls and cliffs. You can see seals and big variety of birds during the season. I can recommend that place.
We have visited St Abbs a few times now. Quite dramatic landscapes and a nice harbour. Sorry to see lots of no parking cones out at the last visit. Seemed unnecessary. Maybe its a Covid thing to limit visitors?
Lovely walk heavy going in places but worth it for the views
