Good food didn't have to wait long to be served. We didn't book but did get a table no problem. Staff efficient and busy. Would have given five stars as some persons (not staff) were moving around without wearing a face mask without being asked to put one on as I have been informed to do in other restaurants

Lovely lunch today. We called in advance to book a table and take advantage of the dine out to help out scheme. Once seated I was informed that we had to complete info for track and trace on their website. It took three goes for it to work. Which was a bit of a faff as it meant we were delayed from ordering. Getting food into children should be any restaurants priority. They already had my full name and mobile number and knew the party size and date and time of booking for me to make the reservation. No other restaurant I’ve used in Scotland or England has used such an onerous and lazy system (I say lazy as it’s taking the same info twice). Faff over we chose one children’s meal of chicken nuggets, but then ordered fish cakes for the other child. Fish finger sandwich for The Mrs and I had scampi in panko crumb. The food was presented nicely and good quality. We all enjoyed our meals other than the youngest who didn’t like the ‘fancy’ tomato ketchup. They made up for it by stealing a lot of my chocolate fondant. The cheese plate was nice too. Definitely one to try if you’re in the area.
Nice little eatery with some really nice starters and good mains - very nice staff as well. No late dining though, so make sure you’re done by 9.30pm
Helpful staff with entering the details for track and trace and a one way system with social distancing between table. Very generous portions and not long to wait for food, would definitely return next time we're up this way
Absolutely lovely place to eat. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing! Arrived quickly and was piping hot. They had dairy free icecream which was a big plus as my son is dairy intolerant and you can choose chunky chips or skinny fries which again was great for my fussy kids! They have a one way system for toilets to help social distancing, they have the menu and track and trace online with all serving done at the table. Honestly can't fault it at all.
Best fish and chips in a long time . The ship has indoor and outdoor eating facilities. They have a one way system in and out to exit restaurant and use toilet facilities. Menu and track and trace is online and you won't be served if you don't fill in track and trace details rightly so . Girls serve to table at a distance and payment is made at table . They have daily "off the boat" specials and lots of fish dishes but also plenty of other tasty offerings if fish is not your bag . The ship is right by the harbour funnily enough ,so good view of fishing boats etc . Staff are always friendly , service is good and food is always excellent .
Can't fault this place. The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. We ate here 3 out-of 4 days. Would definitely recommend. They even have track and trace in place. 10 out 10 for us.
