From single vision lenses to the most advanced progressive lenses. Routine eye exams are an integral part of good healthcare. In some cases, serious eye or medical problems are first discovered in a routine exam. In fact, the earlier a potential problem is diagnosed, the better the prognosis for treatment. This is especially true of amblyopia (‘lazy eye’) and strabismus (mis-aligned eyes) in children, and glaucoma in adults. Many eye problems are asymptomatic, or silent, and depend on a thorough eye examination for diagnosis. For people between the ages of 5 and 40, a routine eye exam is recommended every 2-3 years to detect problems such as refractive errors. Eye exams are recommended every 1-2 years for people over age 40 when there is an increased prevalence of glaucoma, cataracts and other eye conditions. As a new customer I had an eye test and purchased some new glasses - which were perfect. Unfortunately I sat on one pair, completely breaking the arms off the one week old frames, so I took them in to see if they could be repaired. Justin arranged for them to be replaced free of charge!!! How's that for service on behalf of a first time, brand new customer! If you are looking for new glasses, give Eyes on Lane Cove a try.

I went to Eyes On Lane Cove on the recommendation of my GP, as they had specialist equipment to examine my eye. Optometrist Kim was extremely professional and kind. She dealt with the issue with care, and following her advice and treatment recommendations led to the problem clearing up. I am incredibly thankful to Kim for seeing me, and the care the receptionist takes with people as well. I will be using Eyes On Lane Cove as my regular optometrists going forward.
