It’s a beautiful place to go and have a moment of quiet relax I would say. Its a pretty small castle - I mean beautiful ruins of small castle. Some local people, usually you need 20-30 min to visit it all, but it’s a good place to have a small brake at this place, to have a small snack or a drink when it’s a nice weather.

Beautiful little gem just of the M25. Perfect stop of a little picnic. The cat park is small and there are no facilities however it is beautiful and nice and quiet. Will definitely be stopping again.

I have visited Eynsford on many occasions having completely overlooked the remains of this beautiful Norman castle fort. This was my first visit and I parked in the FREE castle carpark. (Opening times are 10am - 6pm) Entrance is FREE (with an option to donate with a text message) I was extremely impressed with how immaculate the whole area is! English Heritage has done an amazing job at keeping it 'A pleasure to visit'.. absolutely spotless! You can enjoy a picnic here and take in the breathtaking countryside. It is perfect in sunny weather and I will most definitely return on a miserable day to see it in a new dimension! I've heard many tales of the darkly cloaked monk who has been spotted in the grounds and even captured in a picture!

Interesting place. Learnt a bit about the history of the castle whilst there, and will look up more about it online. Relatively small (though probably standard size for that time period). Nice places to eat and drink nearby. Good for an evening stroll.
