Please be aware that someone is placing false reviews on this website using my name I have never made a bad review against FBS Flues in fact they are a very professional company with lovely staff and I have never heard anyone complain about their service. I have tried to contact google to have the negative review deleted but they said whoever put it on will have to remove it personally, which I doubt they will so can all potential customers please disregard it as I can honestly say they are a very professional and I personally would recommend them

Quoted me over 2,000 for a 700 job to fit a new flue liner for my wood-burning stove and a chimney topper, trying to tell me that I was wrong about building regs and needed loads of extra work doing. Well I checked with other companies and even went to the Wiltshire Council building inspectors and FBS were totally wrong. Only two reasons I can think of for this... (1) they don't know the regulations in which case they shouldn't be HETAS certified or (2) they know them but mis-quote them to bump up the quote. Both reasons are poor. I would definitely not recommend them and if I could post this review with a score of zero stars then I would.
