Authentic Pie & Mash. Staff were helpful and cheerfully answered all my questions about the shop itself and the pie, mash, liquer and eel. Happy to recommend. Can't say I'm a convert to the jellied eel scene though.
My family have been going here since before I was born and I have been going here regularly for the past 32 years it is THE BEST made better now they deliver. The lady who delivered was lovely and polite. And the lady who took my call read back the order and told me when it would be delivered and even the cost. Very professional, never any less than the best from F Cooke's pie and mash each and everytime. 1000% RECOMMEND!!!!

Happy days are usually made from food that is just simple yet hits the spot. Truly an East End icon. And after living in London for most of my life it's amazing so see some things have stayed the same when every where changes so quickly .
