It's a good place to carry kids in sunny days. River calm and shallow there is a bar and It is possible to rent kayaks and small boats. It isn't beautiful and infrastructured as Adaufe river beach which is nearby.

10 min from Braga. 2 min from Prado. Good infrastructures like wc and parking. Safe for little children and easy access. Has a bar overlooking the river so you don't even have to wet your feet in the rather cold water to enjoy. What did you expect, it's mountain water... no animals though. Portuguese are kinda of strict with that.
