Giving two stars because the naturopath did listen to me and my concerns and did a lot of testing to find out what was going on, but never got to the cause of the problem nor a solution. The general ineptitude of the reception staff and apparently the billing staff as well has ensured that I will never return to this practice. I paid my copay every time despite being overcharged multiple times, was never made aware of any bills, never got a phone call to say “hey, you have a balance. Do we not have your address correct?” Nothing. Front desk staff regularly asked me to reschedule appointments or failed to send forward things that required a referral. General disorganization and frustration with the way the practice is run outweighed the good and drove me back to conventional medicine. Unfortunate that this was the case for me as many people seem to have good experiences here.

I booked an appointment to get some answers about a specific issue I’ve been having. So far so good, Dr. Volcy did not hesitate to order all the tests necessary to really pinpoint the issue. Still waiting on a complete set of results, but I’ve all ready been steered in the right direction.

Received colon hydrotherapy from the amazing Tonya Brown and couldn’t feel better already! Will definitely be going back for another session! Thank you!

Alaska Center for Natural Medicine has some of the best providers I've ever been too. Shawna is amazing with her Chiropractic work and after I see Regina for my massages I feel 100% better in every way! I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Great place to get not only fantastic care but services as well. The providers are astute and courant in their field and provide you with detailed information that is easy to understand. The staff is highly educated on all the clinics protocols and pricing (with or without insurance). I will continue to get and recommend care at the Alaska Center not only for the education and experience, but the relationships that are built.

Great staff, wonderful care and the building is very nice. The cause of my medical problems have been addressed and treated at the root, instead of just trying to medicate me and move to the next patient.. I love that I’m listened to.

I will preface this review by stating that my experience is likely an outlier. I went here for about three months, and after every visit paid what they told me was the total amount owed, only to find out when they sent me a bill that they were supposed to be charging me 80 more. They also charged my insurance twice for the same visit, they did remove the charge after I brought it to their attention, but it was two months after when I noticed it. I don't have any comment on who I was seeing there as it was just personality differences, and I am sure others would enjoy seeing them. The positives are the building is nice, the receptionist was always friendly, and billing was patient, and helpful when explaining my bill to me. Overall I am sure that most people who go here enjoy it and don't have any issues. However that was not my experience

Alaska Center for Natural Medicine has an awesome staff. It's the building that is the problem. Sound echos and you can hear conversations taking place in other rooms. Last December they were treating patients and setting up for a staff party, moving furniture, laughing and yelling and still expecting patients to receive a therapeutic treatment? Very disappointed.
