Of course I was not expecting the Bellagio, but so far I am extremely ambivalent about the Comfort Inn.. The decor of course speaks low budget across the board, however a 22-year old microwave that I had to disconnect and relocate to the sleeping area, the dead fault in the kitchenette was malfunctioning, could have been purchased in a Goodwill 10 years ago. The TV remote did not work upon arrival. The staff however are extremely courteous, and professional. The remote problem was solved. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to the microwave , but I will admit it does heat a cup of coffee. I wouldn't have to use the microwave if I had brought instant coffee, you can easily make a cup off of the shower water it's so bloody hot . The lucky guests who gets this room do however have 2 choices, coffee pot hot or polar bear cold. After a few minutes of dancing back and forth to the extreme temperature changes, frantically twisting the knob back and forth, I was able to find a compromise at lukewarm. It's the Earth Tone "everything" that throws you off. Then it hit me, dirt, everything is the color of dirt. Not that beautiful red Brown you see in the farmer's Fields this time of year as they prepare for planting. Dirt, dirty dirt, like go scrub behind your ears dirty dirt. Oh, one last little irritation, neither of the keys issued to us worked this evening. Which staff took care of almost immediately, there were three new guest checking in so I had to wait about 45 minutes get a new key. Here I set at the Comfort Inn University Center, Comfortably Numb.

It was a nice day as always I'll just be glad when the virus is over and if you plan on getting a room on like Valentine's Day prices skyrocket try to reserve it in advance had any rate it was still yet a nice day if it wasn't I wouldn't have paid what I paid it's pleasant hotel right behind 7-Eleven if you need to go eat snacks or whatever and across the street from other shopping centers

I am a Choice Hotel Platinum member and I really enjoyed my stay it’s was so peaceful and relaxing I just LOVE the vibes up in Northern Virginia. I had to self quarantine from my family member because of COVID 19 and I enjoyed the Myself just relaxing. Very good price I did get a gift bag because I am a platinum member. The Front Desk service was very professional and nice.

When we arrived the room smelled like weed, but we cracked the window to air it out, and then it was fine. The room was clean besides the odor. The decor was dated, but that isn't something we minded. The hot tub was big and as nice to use as expected. Our neighbors slammed the doors between 12am-2am but that is of no fault of the hotel's just bad luck on our part. The breakfast included protein, not just carbs and sugar, which was nice. My room estimate/booking confirmation sent to my email INCLUDING tax was 112.15. Upon check in the paper I signed stated 117.18. (Upon looking at it again it does say "*Additional rate changes apply") I mentioned the discrepancy to the front desk agent who explained he didn't know and did not intend to find out. Now I see my card was charged 131.94. Worried, I called the hotel because we left the room in great shape and checked out on time. It was apparently 'taxes and hotel fees' that were not included on the total of what I was asked to sign. If I was told the room was 131.94 from the get go, that would be okay. They knew my base rate at check in, so they could have included tax and fees at the time I signed my form. It felt like the process bet on me not noticing or not being able to do anything about it, which left me feeling salty.

Been here two times and I can say this jaunt was fire me and my shorty liked it a lot! Each time we’ve come here we reserved a whirlpool suite and it works amazingly and made you feel like you were away and free. Place is mad lowkey and chill with plenty of places to grub at! Thank you

I hope there is minus point I would rather give that point unfortunately there isn’t, no hot water in the restroom nonsense at this cold weather. Please don’t book this hotel you will be disappointed. Non sense replying from the owner , if there is no issue why should I complain please double check your hotel rooms make sure everything is in the correct way .worst experience every, horrible places . If there is no such kind of issue such as what the owner said that doesn’t mean there will never be , before you point your big finger to the customer first think about your hotel’s issue and try to find a way to fix it . Anyways we are not staying in the hotel for free .

No hot shower water... at all. One full week and can’t get a hot shower. Everything else about the hotel is okay but after being out in the cold all day a hot shower is a MUST.
