Working with Lisa of Cor Design was such an enjoyable experience, despite us bringing a complex, large-scope project. I serve on the Board of a 75-unit condominium in Washington, DC which was in need of modernization. The building, approaching 20 years old, had dark lighting, dated furniture, and damaged walls throughout. We interviewed a number of designers and design-build firms, but were so impressed with Lisa's vision for the building, use of interesting colors, and commitment to working within a tight budget. Throughout each phase of the project (design vision, project plan, and execution), Lisa provided timely updates and worked diligently to revise the project based on our feedback. She brings deep relationships with high-quality contractors in the DC area, so even though Cor Design is not a design-build firm, their projects are carried out seamlessly and with vetted contractors. We are absolutely THRILLED with the final results and were especially impressed with Lisa's furniture selections, updates to the wall colors/wallpaper, custom designed gym cubbies, and new light fixtures throughout the building. Cor Design is now our go-to for all building-related improvement projects and we highly recommend them to any commercial building that values quality design and a commitment to staying on-budget.

Working with Lisa was a joy! She provided plans and continual edits for our bathroom and kitchen, really listened, helped me decide what we wanted, helped us find materials and fixtures, guided me on tile and color choices, and was a huge support when things went sideways with our contractor. This is fantastic value for the money - very reasonably priced. And Lisa stuck with us even though the project took a lot longer than planned.
