I love this guy. He may be lacking in bedside manner but I was confident in all of his treatment decisions. He is extremely competent and that is the most important determinant for me. I didn’t go there to socialize and always came away knowing I was in good hands dealing with endocrine issues. I miss him and his quirkiness now that we moved away. NOVA is fortunate to have him.

If I could give Dr Ross 0 Stars I would. I'm writing this review late (Apparently Dr Ross no longer practices) but figured I would add it to my list of reviews. I saw Dr. Ross last April to try to figure out some ongoing energy, fatigue, mental cloudiness and lack of motivation. I brought in all of my blood work and previous doctor notes. After waiting 20 minutes, Dr Ross saw me, I explained my situation while he scanned the room for anything more interesting than my health issues. When I finished he looked at my blood work and said everything was fine....despite having below normal Vitamin D and liver enzymes levels... Throughout the 10 minute appointment Dr Ross LAUGHED at my story, said " I have no idea why you're here", "all of your blood work looks fine, there is nothing I can do for you", "are you sure you're not depressed?" Dr Ross refused to take a deeper look or even give my condition any consideration. He defaulted to depression for everything which I refused. Our appointment ended with him shrugging his shoulders, mumbling "I'm not sure what else you want me to say or do" and then turning his back to me and filling out paperwork. This was the biggest waste of time and money I have spent for a doctor visit to date. If this guy is still practicing DO NOT SEE HIM.

Not recommended. If you question why treatments usually done in hospitals is done in his office, he will just release you as a patient and not answer.

This is our first time seeing a specialist for diabetes complications. It's scary and frustrating when you've tried everything your PCP has told you to, and it's not working. Dr. Ross has a curt bedside manner and does not listen well. He did not show my husband how to use the glucose test kit or explain why he was going from one medication to four (much to my husband's dismay). He did not tell him when he would like to see him again at all!! I felt he wasn't "hearing" us and/or addressing the lifestyle concerns that we had. Terrible experience and we both left feeling frustrated. Now, we are looking for someone who may actually "understand" the complications of diabetes in a fairly young healthy man.

I'm a young adult with a hyperthyroid and Dr. Ross was one of the first doctors I met up with. For all the visits in the last 4 years or so i think he spends on average 5-8 min each appointment. He clearly does not care about his patients. Keep in mind, I meet him twice a year. After meeting up with a new thyroid specialist, she spent time explaining my illness and how to keep my thyroid levels average. We had a very long convo and i walked out with more knowledge of my illness then i probably wouldve never known if i stuck with Dr. Ross.
