Duval is a fantastic designer. We recently completed a lounge bathroom remodel. Duval guided me through the entire design process from concept to selecting materials through installation and finishing details. I wanted to be actively involved in the design process and Duval was amazingly flexible, patient and supportive. At every step in the design process Duval was highly responsive and met tight time deadlines. His technical drawings were impeccable, and his design skills to pull together color, style, and symmetry into a cohesive design are terrific. He anchored the overall design with a beautiful Lao textile I picked up during a swing through Southeast Asia. This design inspiration was the final piece that was installed, tying the entire design together in a beautiful blue bow. In addition to his design chops on space planning, developing color palettes, and selecting materials, Duval was always available to resolve any issues that arose during the project and always provided thoughtful solutions. Duval is delightful to work with and I really appreciate his calm demeanor and light touch which makes doing stressful home design projects enjoyable. We’ve already started work on another design project. So should you.
We hired DuVäl Design to redesign our office after reviewing a number of proposals from firms in the area. What stood out for us was their ability to take our very rough vision and put together a concept that flowed. From the furniture, to the small details like accent pieces and wall coverings. They did a phenomenal job, met our schedule, and turned what was a bland \corporate\ office into a welcoming space for employees and clients alike. Highly recommended for any interior design needs.
Duväl is amazing! He completely transformed my loft space into something super comfortable and livable, with style and meaning. I highly recommend his design services to anyone. He’s easy to work with, punctual, and has an incredible eye for design (and has a great personality to boot!). I’ll be moving soon and will definitely be using him to do my new space!!
Duval picked the finishes for our new-construction home and designed/furnished the first floor. He did an amazing job, working to understand our style, and truly made the house a home. The kids and guests all remark how comfortable they feel even though this is a brand new environment.
