Been here for a couple of nights! Will be extending through the weekend. Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Rene the manager and his staff for taking care of me and offering a refreshing and warm attitude. It doesn’t feel like I’m staying at a motel these guys here are profesional, sharp and real down to earth. Feels like I’m staying with family. The rooms are very clean but definitely need a renovation no other complaints with that. If you’re looking for a decent place to stay in the fair oaks area I recommend this place based on the attentiveness of the staff and also the location right off 66. Kevin U.

It’s sad how the Extended Stay America hotel on Monument Drive in Fairfax VA has deteriorated: dirty rooms, old and rusty appliances, clog toilets and sink, etc. I mean this hotel is not that cheap to be experiencing such issues. Like this recent experience on 04/23/2021-04/25/2021 was just the worst because they had to have known that the toilet wasn’t woking in addition to the remote control to the TV not having any battery cover therefore the battery keeps falling out so couldn’t change the channels...it would make sense that previous guest had to have complained about such. To make matters worst, no one is picking up at the front desk. I think this has just about done it for me.

Well it wasn't the worst hotel we've stayed at. I don't have pictures because my knee was in so much pain and I just wanted to get in the hot bath and soak the pain away. Before I could take my bath though, I had to kneel on my painful knees and wash the tub out with some of my shower gel because it had hair and gross stuff in and on it, which put me in more pain. I was better after I finally took my bath though. That was the 2nd thing though. The first was prior to driving 2 hours down to pick me up and go to the hotel, my boyfriend called ahead and asked if they had pots and pans, dish soap, and other cooking items for the room which had a stove in it. He planned to cook me a surprise romantic Valentine's Day dinner. Well the cabinets were bare. He called the front desk and asked again if they had pots, pans, etc. The front desk guy was just like "Uhhh I can give you plates if you need plates". It is advertised that they provide these things... We ended up going to Red Robin which at least had a very attentive server and the food was good. Oh speaking of the bathroom. The pipes shake so badly when anyone (even your neighbors) turn the shower on, that it literally sounds like someone is jackhammering through the wall. Not satisfied and we'll most likely not be back...

We had some issues with the bathroom and other items in the room and so we contacted the front desk to transfer us. The manager ray took over and he personally ensured that our new room was free from any issues. I really appreciated that. He walked us into the new room and gave us a reasonable discount for the night we had troubles. We will continue to use this property.

It's average at best. A little too expensive for what you get. The rooms are fine, at least there is a full fridge and stove. The bed isn't horrible. It's just an average place to stay. Would I come here again...maybe...They could definitely use more TV channels. There are maybe 15 at most...I've been using my laptop.
