Worst experience of my life they don't even deserve one star. Billing staff took my money and i had 100% coverage in everything and it took them more than 3 months to give me a refund. Dr. Alhassany was amazing to explained everything detailed. Lily was so kind and understanding. Billing Management and office manager need more customer service training.

Two weeks ago my dentist sent me to see a root canal specialist because he said he couldn’t get to the end of the canal because my root was kinda curvy or something. I got an appointment same day at this Fairfax location, and I was seen by Dr. Aomin during lunch time. She was so gentle with her hands and didn’t knock my other teeth at all when she was drilling. Today I went back to my dentist to get a crown, and he told me that my root canal looks beautiful. Not sure if a root canal can be beautiful, but I’m happy that Dr. Aomin did my root canal.

Mediocre professional service, taking twice the estimated time for a root canal. This was followed by surprise medical billing of 10x the original estimated difference that might be owed (after a hefty out of pocket cost at the time of services.) If I had known the real out of pocket cost then, I would have declined treatment but I accepted based on what their staff, who have presumably done this before, said for the cost. In short, don't trust their estimates because they amount to extortion and don't trust their patient service writ large.

Be aware even though the dental office has an agreement with insurance forces you to overcharging. First collecting 80% of your responsibilities fee and if you refuse to ask to leave. I wish I did! When you pay must appeal or forgets to collect your remaining balance. When you are persistent, the office creates another false charge against you. Be aware DR. Lee after the root canal procedure forgets to give you the prescription, and if you were unlucky to fall into Friday, find no one to taking care of you. Happened to me suffered for 72 hours till the office opened on Monday. Overall THIS Office a Scam ENDO office.

Good service, competent, the root canal was successful, I believe my treatment was competent. So what’s the problem? One big, one small – cost and parking. The cost was roughly three times the going rate. Just Google “how much does a root canal cost” for current data. Whether your insurance covers none, or a large portion, GWE cost was significantly above the regional average. This did not include the permanent filling. It would have been less expensive to have the tooth extracted and get an implant. (Over 33% less!). I was referred on an emergency basis, but I provided feedback to my primary care provider, and will not use GWE&P again. Rising cost of health care indeed! An oddity, I also ended up visiting three of their four locations. I had the procedure in their Arlington office, and follow-up care in both Fairfax and Reston. The Fairfax location has good parking. The Arlington office – There is no convenient parking, just like you would expect. Go early, park in a garage, and walk. Wondering if the meter is going to expire while you are sitting in the chair does not add to the experience. Reston – worst of the three. Parking in the garage is free, but give yourself more time. Finding a spot is not easy. The stairwell looks like it was built in the 1970’s and never cleaned since. Creepy. Figuring out how to navigate to your building is dead reckoning – there are no signs. Helpful tip – the lobby directory is correct (Suite 150), but the floors are numbered in the European style (ground floor, first floor…). Since there is no map in the lobby, trust me. Take the elevator to the first floor up, which in America would be the 2nd floor. Lol, and no, GWE&P did not give any maps, navigation tips, or parking suggestions for any of the location. In their case, I would as a courtesy.
