Very nice place. Rooms and hotel in general is clean, roomy parking lot well lit at night. I am from out of town so this was the perfect hotel because it is surrounded with every major store a person can think of. Only thing missing is microwaves in the rooms.

We spent 10 days here... the hotel is pretty empty, very low staffed. The checkin desk is usually empty because the manager on duty is doing like 5 people’s job, so they are inside the office watching the surveillance cameras. If you stand by the checkin table and wave, they will come out in few seconds. Breakfast is mediocre, we get it included with my Globalist status, so I can’t really complain much. The swimming pool is closed, gym is used by appointments only, and room service is not available. If you want your room to be serviced, you have to request it a night before. I felt safe and comfortable being there with my family and I can’t wait to travel again like we used to!

Pretty decent! The staff was friendly and provided ample amount of information about the hotel and the area. The room seemed clean, but still bring sanitizing wipes to wipe everything down for safety. There are a lot of dining and shopping options around the hotel, which was awesome! Tesla and other EV drivers should know the hotel's Blink Charging stations were out of order. Not sure what the story is about that.

Hyatt Regency at Fairfax is one of the best hotels in the area. The check in process went smoothly. The staff were friendly and took care of everything as requested. We got confused with the entrance. There is another patio like entryway in the back. We thought that it was the main entrance. It would be better, if they put signs directing to the main entrance. They have taken all the safety measures and precautions to stop the spread of Covid infections. There are plenty of sanitizing stations throughout the facility. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. We booked a room with a King bed. It also comes with a nice sitting area. One thing I really liked is that the TV is on a swivel stand. So, you have the ability to turn it towards the bed or the couch in the sitting area. The check out process was equally smoothe and hassle free. Overall, I was very satisfied. This was not my first stay at a Hyatt property. As always, they do not disappoint.

Don't say here during the pandemic. I was starting to feeling sick so stayed here last night to quarentine from my housemates until I get my covid test today. First room I got to had some sort of dried food or something sitting on the couch. They moved me to another room, but it really made me wonder if they were actually cleaning and sanitizing the rooms closely. There is no room service, you have to order from the restaurant bc there are no menus online or phone ordering options, and there are limited hours from 5-8pm. The little store was also closed. They said that they had limited staff, but couldnt they then cut down the cost for the room to be fair? Pet fee is 100 which I didnt know about until I was checking in. That is on the higher end for pets and my dog is tiny. Based on my earlier comment, the room isn't very clean anyways! They have a St. Patrick's day drink special advertised at the front desk and at the bar and when my friend asked for it, the bartender said there was not one. The front desk had a sign maybe 50 steps away from the bar. Just felt pretty disorganized. Last thing, there is no one here and yet when I asked to check out at 1pm, they said they could only give me an extra hour until 12pm. That makes me wonder if they are actually keeping rooms empty after there are guests in the room for a few days like so many hotels are saying that they are doing to decrease covid exposure for their staff and other guests. Maybe they were better pre-pandemic, but cleaning practices should be better, not worse during the pandemic. Food clearly sitting on the couch shows that they might not be meeting basic cleanliness standards.

This is a hidden gem in Fairfax. The prices are good and the property is in good condition. It’s a great place to spend the night before a trip through Dulles with your car but a little far from the airport if you’re traveling into town. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. Covid rules are well followed and all are respectful of masks and social distancing.

The pool is still closed due to Covid. The fitness center is open. I saw a large picture of a decent sized pool but missed the note about the pool being closed. To the staff's credit, he offered to refund based on me looking for a usable pool. Late so I kept the room. The bathroom and rooms are spacious and fairly clean. Wiped down the remote as I got into the room and some other surfaces. My only other complaint is the location of the television facing a couched space rather than the bed in the adjoining room. I like falling asleep in bed with a sleep function on the TV. Cannot do that here.
