This store gives me consistent quality service, from the return desk to the check out sections. Every staff I talked to has been friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the paint dept for my recent painting project. I think their names are Gwen, Ben, Natalie, and Willis. They gave good advice and were always helpful. I went to several Lowe’s in the last few weeks looking for a leaf blower, and after commented on how poor the customer service was as a general rule. Many times it seems the employees are trying to be “manly” or looking busy instead of being helpful. However when I asked for help at this location I revived not just help, but when the first staff couldn’t find the item, he put me in contact with a person who could help me order it, and took me to them, and didn’t just point in a general direction. When this kind young lady was helping me and she was sorting out a discrepancy on the pricing she got the head cashier Matt involved. Matt’s service and attitude was exemplary as were the others I interacted with in this visit. Matt, in particular, was pleasant as he explained how we could solve the discrepancy and did it so quickly while remaining calm the entire time. He made the entire experience a joy and a pleasure and we are looking forward to shopping this location again simply for the great customer service this location offers. Thank you Lowe’s of Fairfax !!

Neat, orderly and sparsely occupied compared to their competition nearby. Carries a less variety of products. Cannot make online orders and pick-up same day. The Lumbar section does not have a saw! Neither hand sawing stations.

Purchased 35 Trex boards on line.It was special order. Product was delivered 2 weeks later. Dropped infront of the townhouse. 11 boards damaged. Getting through to customer service was a nightmare. One person passing me to the other and endless waiting on ringing phone.Finally had to personally go to the store handling the order. Jermantown Rd in Fairfax va.There, I had to place a new order with an additional 75 delivery charge. 4 days later, wanted to cancel the delivery part and pick up myself to avoid shipping damage. Customer service told me only way to do that was to cancel the order and reorder again in which case delivery will be delayed. I ended up waiting till product arrived the store and went there with a truck and picked up myself and asked another customer service rep to reimburse me for the delivery charge which they did.
