Great hike in winter! 1st 1.4 miles is pretty much straight up with several beautiful waterfalls. Lots of stone steps. You arrive at Dell Landing and then can continue up a more gradual walk through a large meadow and the wonderful sound from streams.

Amazing and beautiful hike!!! The waterfall is all on the way up... I will note that there are a lot stairs, just to keep in mind. It is great for kids as there is water to refresh yourself and stay cool. We did keep a mindful distance between others and always wore a face mask, except when we stopped briefly and sat far away from the path to keep a distance from passing people. I will definitely be coming back again with my family.

Nice walk along the many lakes of the Tamalpais Watershed. Giving a 3 star because parking in Greene Park is nearly impossible and the town of Ross does not allow roadside parking, which means adding 2 miles extra miles of busy road walking. You are better off driving the extra 15 minutes and parking at Lagunitas Parking lot.

Beautiful spot to escape the City and enjoy nature. It's beautiful in all seasons, but it's particularly good for winter hiking since it gets nice and chilly, but not too cold (40s-50s)...meanwhile the Sierras are covered in snow.

Cool hikes and trails. Love the area around Bon Tempe Lake. Be careful about parking. You can get nasty tkts for parking even a bit out of place.
