I was able to get the grocery items and cookware that I needed. Marc's is a Cleveland original and is like a Big Lots on steroids, since they have a huge water selection, beer, a delicatessen and a grocery store with a lot of inexpensive and local variety items. I really like this store versus the big box stores. Years ago, I remember Marc's and another competing store called Bernie Schulman's. After a tragedy and a potential collapse, I think that Marc's acquired the Bernie Schulman's stores.

Just shopped Fairlawn, bought an item with a discount sticker attached. Male cashier took sticker and said he applied discount. He did not. I had to return, cashier was gone, service desk said they know of his behaviors, and refunded credit w/apology.

This place has really become over priced and not worth changing from the other major food stores it's a shame to see the cost of products here have gone up so much so that they cost more then the local grocery stores. I'd moved away for a period of time and was disappointed by the cost of shopping here and probably wont go back.

Great prices and great products. But can we talk about their registers! Do they ever open more than 2 registers at a time? Please practice FIFO.... nothing like buying expired crackers. Their close outs are great. Super kids section and decorations if your on a budget or need a gag gift.

I like this location because I live around the area . But one star only because there’s two employees in the cash register. They being unprofessional at all . I come to ask them a question and they start looking to each other and laugh. And one girl I asked her the same question three times till she answered me. Please be more professional and show some respect to your customers. I have a business around Akron and the first thing we teach our employees is customer satisfaction.

I am disappointed in this discount store. The male cashiers are rude and inconsiderate. Customers are ignored and treated poorly. Any savings are offset by terrible customer service. I will not shop at this location again
