Brought my kiddo here who lost a lot during the COVID shutdowns. In the 55 hours that she spent there, she obtained the foundation and skills needed to continue. She would get excited about going, never complained once. They got her excited about math, and to me that is a success! It helps that she liked every single teacher! They all are amazing! I can’t sing the praises of Sylvan enough. My niece has been working with them for the last few months, over the summer and into the school year, and it’s made such a wonderful difference. I see how quickly she can access her multiplication facts and make connections that show she's comprehending the texts she’s reading. But most importantly, she’s regained her confidence and is blossoming (again) into a lover of learning. It’s not only her grasp of the content that’s improved, but now she feels equipped and capable of figuring things out and working through the discomfort or frustration of learning new things. She explores knowledge and seeks out new challenges on her own now. Her outlook has changed towards school & challenges in general, because now SHE believes and knows she can do it.
