My go to hardware store .There is a good variety and items are well stocked. When I have price checked them, Home Depot generally has better prices than other hardware stores in the area. The staff is quick, efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I like to order online and pick up in store, using the lockers in the front of the store. Just place your order, await confirmation it is ready for pickup, then retrieve the order from the locker. No people, no lines, just fast and convenient. Home Depot has everything you would ever need for your home improvement and yard projects. We shop there regularly for appliances, lumber, bathroom cabinets, faucets, plumbing, electrical, lighting, tools, drywall and paint. We were just there today looking for touch up paint to repair some spots on the wall and we did not know the color. A gentleman named Quentin, in the paint department helped us locate the right color. We brought in a very small chip of paint from the wall and he was able to find a match with a special tool that he had. Quentin was very helpful and professional. Well done!

We ordered carpet Oct 30 2021 and on Mar 20 2021 the project is still not completed. The carpet is fine but Home Depot requires you to use a company called GS flooring. The company is horrible to work with, they have a shoddy installation. They are unresponsive. It’s been a nightmare to get our project finished. We have carpet that goes up wooden steps and has a landing. The landing was measured incorrectly. The carpet drifts to the left. Where the carpet meets wood floor at the bottom it was just cut off with irregular finish and threads that stick out. Woodwork was beat up. I have been unable to get GS flooring to complete the job. They won’t return calls. Home Depot acts like they are impotent and unable to help with their own subcontractor. The project has turned into a nightmare. If you have a nice home, do not buy carpet from Home Depot because of their installers they demand that you use.

This evening, I just had the best customer service experience I've EVER had in the Fairlawn, Ohio Home Depot. There are good people who work there, however it's not always easy to find someone who is able and/or willing to help you if it's "not my department." Tonight, however, I met Damon Stone. He went above and beyond to help me order flooring, while also ensuring I could use my Home Depot same as cash credit offer I received in the mail. I neglected to bring the mailer coupon with me, so he was resourceful in knowing who to contact who could help him help me. He made two separate calls to ensure he had all the information he needed in order to do this. He apologized for my wait, yet I couldn't have been more pleased with his extraordinary customer service, and creative way of accomplishing great service, and making the sale. All during the process he explained what he was doing, and why, keeping me informed. Then he asked me to take a look at everything on his screen so I understood and confirmed it was as expected. As I was leaving, he said anytime I needed anything, to either stop by or call, and he'd be happy to help. I hope Home Depot knows what an asset Damon Stone is, and model others at the store after his pleasant and professional demeanor. Thank you Damon, for making my Home Depot visit a happy success!

They did not seal my paint can all the way and it apilled inside my car on the way home. They said they are not liable, and offered me 200 as a customer courtesy to help repair thousands of dollars in damages. What a wonderful company. Never giving them business again. Going to Ace.
