Th luxury historic Fairmont Banff Springs hotel has provided legendary hospitality in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The hotel and the entire town are located inside Banff National Park! The hotel itself was built in 1888, styled after a Scottish Baronial castle. Our room was in the centered and facing the lake. For the price we paid, I was expecting more modern accommodation in the room, not just "historic." It is the best hotel in town, surrounded by incredibly gorgeous natural beauty.

We came to the Fairmont for afternoon tea. The spot they are serving tea right now has one of the best views in the hotel. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. So much flavor and it was beautiful. You think it's not going to be enough food but we left with leftovers.

This place is amazing. One of my favourite hotels in the world. Great history and wonderful public areas with insanely pretty views. Rooms vary in size and views and yes its expensive but its an experience not to be missed!

We celebrated our 15th anniversary at the Banff Springs this weekend. We have never stayed here before. What an experience it is to be treated like royalty. From the moment we pulled up and were helped by the valet team, through the check-in staff, concierge and everyone at all the lounges, restaurants etc. A weekend we will remember for a long time. It’s not an inexpensive weekend. But if you can make it work, you will not be disappointed! We stayed in a standard Fairmont View Room. It’s not huge. But it had all the amenities one would expect at a 5 star resort. Thanks to Sarah, Carmen, Jeff, Molly and all the others who assisted us and even provided a small cake for my wife’s birthday. Above and beyond the moon. We Will Be Back! Soon!

A wonderful experience in a genuine historical and opulent venue. Definitely worth the trip from Calgary or elsewhere. The hotel is its own ecosystem and you can enjoy days on end in multiple restaurants, bars, amenities, the spa, retail, and other activities both in and out of the hotel. Highly recommended, especially for a date or weekend getaway.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. We felt very safe staying there during 'Covid times'. The staff are very helpful and professional. Restaurant choices are closed or limited so you have to travel to downtown. Beware of extra costs including resort fee (even though the pools etc were closed) and parking.

My daughter & I chose the Banff Fairmont for our weekend getaway. The hotel is in the perfect location to appreciate that we're around nature while also close enough to town center. All staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Restaurants were also wonderful and without line-ups. We will definitely visit again.

The rooms are nice but what really sells the place are the staff, they're kind, caring, smart, forgiving and in general pleasant to be around. It feels like they're your friends and not strangers being paid to help. In terms of the location it's probably one of the best out there. There isn't much that tops a castle in the mountains and this just goes to show. Regardless of cost; when staying in the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel you will feel like royalty.
