My tax advisor (Barrie Scott & Co) put me in touch with Andrew at ARD Consultancy to help me with a fairly complicated set questions regarding a Capital Investment Bond that had been 'written in trust' some years ago. The Bond Provider had changed during the term of the Bond and details of the beneficiaries had also been amended. I need to establish whether the Trust was still 'in tact' and that the initial tax efficient aims of the Bond were still going to be met. Andrew reviewed the bulky folder of documents that had been gathered over the term of the Bond and answered my questions succinctly with the details that I had asked for. Whilst I am not a registered client at ARD Consultancy this work was undertaken on a goodwill basis, by Andrew, whose Financial Advisory services I would be planning to use, on a formal basis, as and when I no longer wish to manage my own financial affairs.
