I've went here for years and over time I've noticed the customer service really slip. Although most of the staff are great there's a few team members which are extremely rude and I feel as if they will go out of their way to may the experience more difficult than it needs to be.

If you live in Central Scotland and require eye care then give T.A. McMahon Optometrists in Falkirk a visit or book a consultation. My family have been customers of the practice for many years. We have always received friendly and professional consultation and advice. Should we require new glasses etc we have always found quality and affordable frames. I would recommend you give this practice a visit.
I felt the eye exam was thorough and the optician advised and answered my questions. Reassuringly high levels of skill and experience, with a friendly approach. It's a local independent business with a personalised service, so you dont feel you're being 'processed'. Much better than the various high street chains I've visited in the past.
Thanks to Tom and staff for attention to detail , and their expertise during my recent eye test. I shall always be grateful to Tom who, a few years ago, found that I had cataracts in both eyes, and arranged for me to have surgery to remove same. After this was carried out, I was able to dispense with wearing glasses full time, after 50 years of same.!!! Remarkable! Thanks again Tom! Bill Brown.
Only 'INDEPENDENT' opticians left in Falkirk! Standard and detail to care superlative. I am an 'individual' client. I have a unique identity and treated as such. This not an 'eye examination', it's 'excellence' in action! Found something wrong with the left eye however, not happy with one test, called me back and performed THREE more to confirm his findings, but started immediate referral to hospital after suspicions on the first examination. Beat that! The staff have been in that shop for years, and yes it shows. It's high end professional service from everyone. My new prescription for my daily glasses? Spotted a fivepence piece on the ground at ten metres! Well, not quite, but I think it could be possible. Highly highly recommended. Thank you ALL! (:-)
Having been a client of Tom's for many years, I feel very comfortable discussing my concerns and needs. I trust him to look after my vision and good health and I am very happy with the all round care and service that the practice provides. Staff are skilled, friendly and helpful. A greater choice of spectacles would add to an already very good practice.
I simply wouldn't go anywhere else. McMahon Optometrists has been my opticians for years. They are on the ball with their up to date equipment, knowledge and skills. The ethos is welcoming and so friendly. Simply the best!
