I've taken my mother to see Dr. Pottanat a few times over the past two years as she has early/mid stage Alzheimer's. She has been extremely helpful and takes the time with my mom to make sure she feels comfortable and happy. Never a problem with the receptionist as well - she is very kind and responsive. Not sure about the negative reviews on here but my mother has had a great experience with her and although she's not a fan of going to the doctor she doesn't mind seeing Dr. Pottanat at all!

Dr. Pottanant is very considerate & empathetic professional. We've been going for 10 years with my parents & family. She is thorough and really listens to difficult aging health care issues, helpful for Alzheimer's & dementia problems provides GP & specialists as needed and offers alternative medicine referrals! Receptionist can be a bit Curt but be patient - Dr P is worth the time to have her on yr health radar!

I'm not sure why Dr. Pottanat gets such horrible reviews. I was reluctant to schedule an appointment with her for my mother because of all the terrible reviews, but wanted my mother to see a geriatric specialist. So we scheduled our first appointment. Dr. Pottanat was wonderful. She took so much time with us and talked with my mother about all of her health concerns. She's polite and friendly, and direct. She counseled my mother on what she was doing right and gave her feedback on what she felt wasn't in her best interest. We've just scheduled our 3rd appointment with Dr. Pottanat, and could be happier. She as taken such good care of my mother's needs and managed her concerns. Her staff is not the greatest, but they seem to be trying to do a good job.

Dr. Pottanat is a compassionate and kind person and MD. She is very good with the senior population and their family members. She is knowledgeable and stays current in her practice! She is skilled with Alzheimers and Dementia patients as well.
