What I liked hearing the most, when initially talking with Mary Mendel from Family Bridges, it that their caregivers are their biggest asset. And that they go to lengths (interviews, background checks, etc.) when hiring caregivers. We needed assistance right away, and the Family Bridges Team made it happen. We had a number of caregivers at the start, and all were very friendly, professional, and focused on care for the patient. Their organization and communication was top notch. But most importantly their interaction with the family and care for my Mom was genuine and caring. I would definitely recommend Family Bridges to those in need.

My wife and I have a long association with Family Bridges and they have always provided quality, professional care for our elderly family members. After many years of caring for my wife’s aunt, I turned to them when my mom first needed in-home care. Family Bridges president Mike Garfunkel arranged to meet me personally at my place of employment. He guided me through the process of contracting for the services we needed and ensured that the care was appropriate based on my mom’s condition. I received regular updates thereafter. The caregivers were compassionate, punctual, and experienced. Later, when my mom was completing a Medicare spend down, Mike and his staff were able to set up an advanced-paid contract for future care to help us meet government requirements. When using those hours, again, the caregivers took time to call me personally to inquire how they could best meet mom’s needs.
