I tried calling last week several times, more than one day. The line rings twice and disconnects. I so needed to see the Doc. No luck. Cynthia, the Office Manager, is no longer there. That says a lot about the poor patient service. I ended up with Covid-19 and in the hospital. I was referred to my Doc. That is why I was calling. I know Raul and Melissa are no longer there either. They are not the problem. I believe the problem is that the Doctor and the PA don't genuinely care for their patients! They really don't care. I feel that way! I called Dr. Rocha's east side office! Amazing! I was treated so well from beginning to end. You need a great Doc and great staff, call Dr. Rocha's office. On a great note, Cynthia is now at Dr. Rocha's east side office! A great person has joined a great team! See ya Family Medicine of West Texas! I was still willing to be a patient. You didn't care enough for me.

I called billing several times with no reply. I called to inform the office of my bill coded incorrectly because I was charged as if I went to a specialist. The girl I spoke was rude and kept speaking over me. She put me on hold without telling me she was going to do that and did not return to the call. I called again and spoke to a young man who stated the office manager was on vacation. He was going to contact billing to correct the mistake. It is a very poor reflection on the office as a whole when someone does something so immature. Update: I received a call from the young man(Raul) I spoke to earlier. He called to let me know he had taken care of the problem with billing. I'm thankful for people like him who have great customer skills and are willing to help. I can walk away from this situation with a more positive view. Thank you.

I found these people friendly at first but after a few visits for the same problem, lower back pain, the PA told me I was just getting old and shouldn't expect to walk more than a block without being in severe pain. Let alone go hiking or have a normal life. He told me I should take up gardening or something like that. I was so angry I cried. IM ONLY 58! I went to a back specialist and ended up with S1, L4, L5 fusion. Those people are quacks and should not be in business. Don't go.... run the other way!

The lady at the front desk intentionality ignores phone calls. I sat here in the waiting area during a walk in after she ignored all of my phone calls after I called and asked about a prescription weeks ago. I've been waiting for this prescription to be sent to CVS since a month ago. I waited to see the doctor and while waiting I called the office and personally heard the phone ring, I saw her look at it and then saw her press a button on the phone(assuming the mute button). And then my call just rang and rang and rang. I did this twice. Same result twice. I just walked out and will be changing primary care provider. I wonder if the doctors know this is going on based on other reviewers. Ridiculous. This girl needs to be removed if she won't do her job.

The staff at Family Medicine of West Texas are fantastic and sincerely friendly. They go out of their way to help out the patients. I'm glad I switched to this office. They genuinely care about you. Don't get me wrong, you have to do your part as a patient. However, it is minimal compared to all they do for you. They are on top of things and usually they are waiting on other Medical Support Agencies for results and such. I recommend this Doctor's office to everyone. Call them. You won't regret it!!!
