Firstly, bought scaffold boards from eBay, very straight forward, and allowed my hubby to choose his own boards on arrival, and if we can think of another project, which I can, of course, we will return. Secondly, my hubby bought the boards as he was making a small double bed for our daughter, who is all about recycling and not buying new, if you can help it! So as requested by one of the guys in the yard, here are some photos. We are very pleased with his first attempt, there are somethings he would do different but the effect is perfect as far as I am concerned Sorry photos did not come out in order but you get the idea!

Incredibly rude staff. I ordered and paid for dozens of 6ft scaffold boards over the phone. Phoned ahead a second time before making the long drive to confirm they were exactly 6ft as it was very important. Was told rather obnoxiously \if thats what you ordered then thats what you'll get\. When I arrived to collect they didn't look right. I spent 15 minutes trying to get someone's attention and was totally ignored. I was then pounced on by two inexplicably angry members of staff who berated me for walking though a gap in a fence to ask for a tape measure and would not listen to a word I said. Sure enough, when i got home and measured them, the boards were cut to 180cm, not 183cm. 180cm is NOT 6ft. Utterly useless for the intended project and had to buy more elsewhere. Utterly bizzare attitude to take with a customer. Horrible experience. Avoid.

Picked up some reclaimed slates for a roof repair. Well organised to cope with the current \unpleasantness\, phoned to place order and pay. Went and picked up safely a couple of hours later.

Amazing service over the phone when ordering. Will be definitely be ordering from here again. Paid delivery but had it the same day. Brilliant quality wood and cheap to compare to B&Q, Wickes Etc.

Very friendly and professional service - I felt they went over and above really when I asked for railway sleepers to be cut and delivered for me. Extremely personable and excellent materials too.
