Absolutely gorgeous cathedral. I wasn't expecting much, but the inside really revealed some great pieces of art and church stuff. Well worth the 3,5. Currently there might be some waiting lines, due to the fact that only 5 people are allowed to go to the top. But wait was short.

Nice place. You should pay a visit when staying in Faro. Also the view from the tower roof is great ️
A tower with many bells is included in the 3.5 euro entry fee, splendid views over the bay and city of Faro. A climb up not for the unsteady, a rope to cling onto on the way down would help a lot it's steep with uneven centuries worn steps. Architecture is dull with some exotic relief from the carvings inside and a clerical exhibition of ruby and pearl studded mitres accompanied by gold lame jerkins worn by those oh so pious men of God we rarely respect anymore.
Watched an open air concert here. Lovely grounds and well spaced out.
Very nice to walk around here. You can visit the cathedral, the chapel, museum and the tower with one ticket. Beautiful view up on the tower.
The beauty inside belies the fairly bland exterior. Some amazing murals and a grand organ. A small-ish museum and art gallery to look around and a very small bone chapel. Great views from the top of the bell tower. I'd like some more descriptions in English for tourists, but it is definitely worth the 3.50 entrance fee.
Very humble looking from the outside but a wonder inside. Decoration and carving is stunning. Lovely views from the bell tower.
Went there just for the view from tower. Ticket is 3,50 per person and you can also visit the small garden, church and it's tiny museum.
