we loved this place! while the food might not be anything authentic shanghainese (the soup was wonderful tho), we did have a happy lunch. the service was fast and great. 81 per head for lunch (appetiser, main, rice, soup & chinese tea) the downside is the place is a bit tiny and the lift was SO SLOW.

Very good value set lunch (includes a soup, a small starter and a main, can switch the rice the noodles for a small supplement). The double boiled soup, Chinese chicken salad, peking hand made noodles and sweet and sour fish were very good. When there for Thursday lunch and it’s quite busy - should book in advance if you plan to visit.
Went there last night based on the great reviews on openrice. However, service was not attentive at all that they are obviously lacking staff (even one of their serving staff moaned about it too). There were a few tables, including us, wanting to order, however none of the staff was free to take any order for at least 20 minutes. The table next to us did not get any water/tea even they were being sitting for \u003e30mins. People started getting annoyed, the table next to us started leaving (there were 8 of them) because staff decided to squeeze an extra table in the very packed dining room instead of taking orders from those who were already seated. The situation was really chaotic. We didn’t get to try the food here, because I nstead of take orders immediately, one of the staff was only persuading us to stay when we followed others to leave. Feeling sorry for them, not doubting the nice reviews on their food quality on openrice but seriously service need to be enhance to run this restaurant in full capacity.
Reasonably priced, risotto with wild mushroom is great, wine is so-so.

好好味既京菜！價錢係銅鑼灣區唔算貴。有幾樣餸都推薦，首先必嗌扁皮鴨，皮脆，又唔怕好油。另外就係花雕話梅醉松葉蟹腳，個汁有淡淡既酒味，當中帶有話梅酸甜味道，好開胃，味道好特别！仲有拔絲香蕉都幾出色，賣相靚之餘，食落香蕉內軟外脆，中意甜品既人一定好中意！
