I should have checked the review before used them, a lesson learned. It's a scam, when I did the shopping, it was offered as 20% VAT refund. In fact, I only received 12% less 3 fee. The service was so bad, out of those 9 or 8 counters, only 1 was manned, luckily there wasn't many people queued there. Perhaps the others know better and got their refund somewhere else. The lady only said that it's their airport policy for 12% refund, she even tried to send me getting the boarding pass first while actually they can use the e-ticket. She accepted it after I was insisting that the person before was served with his luggage on the trolley, which means that he hasn't checked in yet. Told her that worldwide is the same policy, we can get the VAT refund first then put the merchandise into our luggage. She thought that I didn't know it, what a b***h.

I accompanied an associate who came to receive a VAT refund. When we arrived, a single employee was at the desk. The employee, a woman in her 20s, was engaged in a phone call that was clearly social. She didn't acknowledge us nor stopped the phone call. After waiting for a few minutes, I asked whether she could help us. Then, she ended the call. She didn't apologize for the wait. Then, she took a quick look at the documents and angrily rejected them. She claimed that there was an error in the document, but gave little explanation. She refused to say whom we could contact for help. She also refused to identify herself. Buyer beware!

They refused to give me my tax back because the passport number has an N at the start The printed passport number does have an N on the actual password but the scan apparently doesn’t , so they used that In Paris I had my name miss spelled and I got the full tax refund back Not to mention she was excessively rude and show 0 effort in trying to help at all Makes you feel like they do this just to keep the tax A serious bad impression of the whole travel experience

Absolute rubbish service. Worst airport staff I’ve ever come across. Just because the staff member didn’t want to help me with my enquiry, they proceeded to put on their headphones in front of me. Absurd customer service! Left such a bad impression! Try and avoid getting your refund here.

Absolute fraud. Do not take credit card refunds. They take more fees than cash. I am complaining to Italian Government and airport authorities. Someone should monitor their work!

Wrong info given by staff on cash vs credit card refund. When questioned, she didn't apologize but instead gave attitude. The staff were busy chit chatting instead of doing their jobs. Terrible service
