Ich freue mich also umso mehr, dass Stadt und Sender an einem Strang ziehen. Die gute Botschaft heute lautet Der Fernsehturm kann für Besucher bald wieder geöffnet werden. Der SWR-Intendant betonte, dass sich durch den komplexen Sachverhalt und die besonderen geometrischen und sendertechnischen Randbedingungen die Bauzeit nur grob schätzen lasse. Gemeinsames Ziel des SWR und der Stadt Stuttgart sei eine Wiedereröffnung Mitte 2015.

The best way to have a bird's eye view of the sprawling city of Stuttgart and other towns on its periphery. If you're lucky with the weather, then you can have amazing views to justify the steep price you pay for this privilege. One can later climb down a flight of deck to the restaurant cum cafeteria which allows you to sit comfortably at your cake and coffee and soak in the amazing views. Recommend once to visit this tower if you're visiting Stuttgart but I wouldn't visit again.

Good place to walk. There is small forest around this place. But if you need to go up then I guess you have to take reservation with the hotel managing this hotel. I guess the view would be nice. There is plenty of parking as well good tram connections so need not worry much about it

Everytime I come here it reminds me of the first time I came here in the 80's. It brings me back to time with my Omi, and the old streetcar, and time exploring the city with my family and extended family.

Spend a nice evening here. There is cafe upstairs with good view. Little difficult to find while coming from station. Follow the signs on the roads, Google map may not be right.

Wow! what should I say, being an expat, visiting this place was a lifetime experience, I mean it's soo quiet and the wind is cold it's just amazing, I went there alone but it's more better to be there with your partner! Best place to enjoy the view and the beauty of Stuttgart! Just breathtaking, There's also a restaurant which you can visit too.
