I had really high hopes for Ferraris as everyone talks about this place constantly . My wife and I had a 7p reservation. Place was empty so we sat at the bar. Bartender was super nice and good service. Sat down got a few drinks and this is where it goes down hill for me. They brought us out a bread appetizer (free) with marinara sauce. Bread was amazing. Sauce was cold. I asked if that was normal and they said yes the sauce is served cold. Big turn off for me. We decided to order the 19 dollar crab claw app. You should have seen my face when 4 overcooked to death crab claws showed up. For 20 dollars I expect more than 4 little overcooked crab claws. My wife had 1 little bite of crab claw. A tiny bite of bread and she gave me the look it was time to go. Couldn't of agreed more. Felt like I stepped back I time with the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Place really needs a bit of help in my opinion. Just sad it was a date night out away from our newborn and this is what we chose

This was a good experience for 2 people 1 steak dinner and 1 sea bass dinner and a bottle of red wine 162. The food was good, the only feed back is there was waaaay too much olive oil on the sea bass it was running off the plate. I think we both agreed the bread with the marina was superior. Not sure if we would come back again but would probably try it again to see if it was an off night. Our server was very kind seemed a little nervous for some reason but very attentive and made sure we had what we needed to have a great night. Update- so we took some of the food home and it just added to the disappointment you can see the oil run off in each dish an my Brussels sprouts are 90% burnt.
My wife and I have been to Ferrari's many times. The service has always been top notch and the food great. Get the crab claws for an appetizer, and soak the claws and toasts in the cream sauce.. it's wonderful! Ask for Paula.. she's great!
Had heard good reviews of this place and overall the food wasnt bad, but it was really good either. It was okay. The biggest issue I have is the price. I don't mind spending 200 for a nice dinner, but we didn't get a 200 dinner. Had we paid 50-75 I would've given this 4 stars. But for 200, I expect a high end dinning experience with outstanding food. I would much rather go to truluck's, or Perry's or any number of other high end restaurants for this price. Overall the food just doesn't live up to the price. Would probably not go back here.
Truly an amazing place. Exceptional food made by talented people. It is worth every penny for this authentic experience. Everything is at least as good if not better, than everything I ate while in Italy. I have had over half the menu at this point and have always been impressed by the level of consistent perfection to their food. You cannot go wrong here. Favorites are definitely the sea bass, and the rack of lamb when they have that special. All of the pastas are exceptional as well. The service is so genuine and it has become a retreat for us. The owners are such wonderful people. It is has been a pleasure to get to know them. Lastly, If my Italian grandmother were still with us, she would approve. And that is basically the highest level of confidence you can get from a google review.
