What can I say? Ale and Ale (his girlfriend) had nearly convinced me to book a room at Sail hostel, before I even had entered the house! During my numerous trips to different countries I cannot remember that I had been welcomed in such a caring, warm and open way as here! But after some mediocre experiences with former accommodations, I was a bit reluctant and wanted to see the rooms, first. And here came the next surprise! The whole house shows a very modern, high-quality and neat setup, nice and very tasteful decorations, modern bathrooms and it is super-clean! Love it! I saw two different rooms, one with (gorgeous) private, the other with shared bathroom (for 2 rooms) and despite I do not like shared bathrooms, I took the shared-bathroom setup because of the tidiness of the house, the spared bucks and (of course) the sea-view terrace to watch the sunset... The house is very silent and the only things you can hear at night is the waves! Paradise! This is where I could stop with 5 of 5 stars. But besides all that, Ale&Ale came up with so much information and recommendations about secret restaurants, cafés, sights, day trips, local knowledge, info about Sintra, Lisbon, Obidos and may other places - things they recommend because they love it themselves - this knowledge is so much worth more than any guide book! It just made my experience with Sail hostel and the area so unique! Thank you so much! This hostel is a recommendation and I will for sure come again! 6 stars! :-)

He pasado unos días estupendos: anfitriones acogedores, buen ambiente, buenas recomendaciones de visitas, restaurantes, muy limpio, tranquilo, atardeceres de ensueño con puesta de sol sobre el mar. Recomendable 100%
