Don't let the front fool you. Beautiful place inside with a gorgeous garden overlooking the bay. Food and drinks very nice, bar food very tasty as well. Small but perfected menu. I do like the closeness of he Roman bridge. And random chance of seeing the old birds.

On my way to the airport, tried to fill the tank after pre paying whit credit card and the bomb 1 didn’t work. It seemed the transaction hadn’t gone through. I made another transaction with credit card and this time it worked perfectly and it was charged only the amount filled. The problem is that the first transaction was charged in my credit card as if I had filled the tank but I didn’t at the first try!!! I Tried to call the gas station as suggested by the credit card company in order to ask for the refund but the telephone number I found on google is not activated . Don’t recommend this station specially if you are not from Italy. Chances of money loss.

Careful!!! Use cash if possible when unattended. The service is mostly automatic in the off season or during certain hours. Does not take Amex!!! Used a Debit card and filled up 43 ( A75 approx) . The service charged 100 (A162) to my card after taking extra care to replace the pump nozzle and pressing cancel on the pump to be extra sure. After reading a previous post, I’m suspecting the pump charges 100 and then refunds the difference after filling up. I hope this is the case as the cash/card operating machine does not issue receipts and there is no one around to assist.

They are thiefs! I filled around 19 litres and should pay 29 euro but they asked for 49 euro. The bad thing is I realized it too late. Avoid this gas station if you can.

Beware of the self-service! 1. If you remove the fuel nozzle from the pump and put it back without filling your tank, you might lose the money you've inserted in the self-service machine. 2. The machine doesn't print a receipt, therefore your chances of proving you got ripped off are zero. 3. Avoid using debit cards. When asking for your pin, the machine displays that your account will be debited with 101 and you cannot modify the amount. 4. The diesel hose of pump no. 3 is leaking and there are no paper towels available to clean your hands.
