Very good experience - the car was very nice and new (a 2019 crossover hybrid), the price was good, and the process was smooth. I was a bit hesitant since GreenMotion in general has a bad reputation with scam damage claims, but this location was friendly and didn't seem to bother with scrutinizing the vehicle's condition - the exit check took maybe a minute. Only two things that could be improved - the rental contract was only in Italian, and the tank was half-full (and needed to be returned at least half-full); I prefer a full-to-full policy.

Avoid this company like the plague, i booked a car with them for my vacation in Sardinia, paid for the car online with my credit card in advance. I was at a hotel 16 km from Alghero and took a taxi to the airport to pick the car, i took my wife and 11 months baby and payed 38 euro for the taxi. Lady at the counter told me that they cant accept my card (the exact same one that i used to book the car with and the one that was perfectly fine for them to take money from) It didnt matter that i used this card with tens of other car hiring companies before, my wife started crying and we go take a taxi for 35 euro back to the hotel. When i asked the lady at the counter to speak with a manager the dialogue went as follows: - Can i speak with the manager? - No, he is not here - When is he coming? - Later - Later when? at what hour? - I dont know? - How can you not know that? - He is coming monday, monday I wrote an email to them explaining the situation and asking for my money back, i paid for the service that i didnt get, i was present on time ready to take thr car, of course they refused stating that there is a small piece of text in the middle of thousands of other lines in the terms and agreements that i should have read, stating that they require only 2 specific types of cards at the pick up and all cards are fine for booking, what a nice little scam. Upon reading some more about the company and how they make you pay for damages that you didnt cause (try googling the company) i am convinced that they are scamming people with an array of tricks, dont get fooled by their low prices, you will pay mutch more in the end. AVOID AT ALL COST
Cheap rental and car was OK. However, a huge safety deposit of 2000 was reserved on my credit card (I rented a C4). The reservation was cancelled in the end but almost a full month after the rental period! I have never experienced this before, beware.
1500 euro deposit was returned for 30 days !!! The company lied to me when I recived the car that I would get back after 10 day. Lied!!!!!!!
Esperienza molto negativa con la GreenMotion (GM) presa ad Alghero Aereoporto) dove ero 1 gg per lavoro!!! Ho prenotato una panda e mi hanno dato una Kia Picanto dove non entravano neanche i bagagli. La macchina si è fermata due volte per un guasto elettrico (macchina evidentemente non sufficientemente controllata ) l'auto quando si è spenta non dava piú segni di vita e ho rischiato di perdere il mio appuntamento di lavoro. Quando ho telefonato preoccupato, viste le condizioni dell'auto che non ripartisse neanche la mattina dopo (ero a Tula) , la signorina della GA mi ha liquidato con un..."speriamo che non succeda"...Riconsegnata l'auto mi hanno detto che mancavano 10 di benzina addebitandone però 45 (tutto questo senza che nessuno si sia mai scusato...)
nonostante avessi dei pregiudizi dovuti alle recensioni negative lette poco prima di partire, la ragazza ad Alghero è stata gentilissima e ci ha accontentato in tutte le nostre necessità, la macchina era una KIA Sportage nuova, pulita e ben tenuta... consigliato!!!
