This place is perfect! It's only about 5 minutes from the center of town but makes you feel like you have the entire countryside to yourself. Several hiking trails go right near the property so you can easily hop on and off or just stroll along the country roads...all of which I did. The house itself was built in the 18th century and is beautiful kept. Incredibly clean. The owners are delightful, helpful and cheerful. Their love of this property and the region shows. Also, Ruth, one of the owners, is an amazing cook! Most of the food comes directly from the local market but seasonings she literally walked to the wild meadow behind the manor and picked all of the herbs right before dinner. She even let me tag along and explained to me the different plants and herbs. I highly recommend requesting the plat du jour as soon as you get there! There's plenty do around the region and they had all the information I needed to explore but I loved the manor and the quiet (and the food) so much I also spent a lot of time just reading on the veranda, in the courtyard or around the fireplace at night. This might have been my favorite place I've ever stayed...and I've been a lot of places. Oh, the pic of the hills through the window is the view from room!!

This wonderfully hidden B&B is a short 10 min drive from Figeac. You are transported to a magical space when you arrive, pulling you to explore the surroundings even before heading to meet your hosts, Ruth and Terry. Inside the place is well......, enchanted! A gigantic fireplace greets you as you enter the dining room, where delicious and generous breakfasts are served. Enter the living room and you’re destined to sit on the comfortable chesterfields and never move...lapping up the quiet and serenity. Our room on the main floor was spacious, with a view overlooking the bucolic scenery below. You will be hard pressed to leave the comfort of the bed. We are so looking forward to returning this year (2020)

I can recommend this beautiful and truly enchanting place. In reality the manor looks even more stunning. All the furnitures and interior design are vintage and are put in a way that gives it an incredible charm. The place is a bit outside of Figeac and therefor surrounded by nature. You get to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of nature. I would highly suggest to stay a few days to get the most out of it. Apart from the manor there is a lot of excursions and activities around the area. (Caves, Kayaking, Restaurants, Medieval Villages and ruins, Museums and plenty more)

Our stay was wonderful: the location was breathtaken because of the beauty of nature and the tranquility, the manor was attractive and nicely decorated in old French style with spacious rooms and beautiful views. A real surprise, near Figeac a special place. Our hostess and host, Ruth and Terry, opened their house and their attitude made us feel like we were at home. Very hospitable and nice people. We stayed there for 5 days and it left an unforgettable impression on us. Definitely high recommended. Berry and Angelien

magnifique et irréel une fois que vous avez trouvé ce manoir isolé en sortie d'une zone industrielle à 5mn de Figeac. un accueil des plus agréable et on s'y sent bien! de grandes chambres a l’ancienne avec une bonne literie, un petit dej parfait avec la vue sur le vraie manoir enchanté...une petite bicoque classés avec sa petite tour aux proportions idéales à l'orée du bois... ici on se prend pour Hensel&Gretel mais nos hôtes sont des fées!

Merveilleux séjour où très bon accueil et vieille batisse concourent passer un très bon moment au calme, pas très loin de Figeac. Merci Ruth !
