This place is excellent. The food is good, nice and the portions are generous. But that's not why you should come here. The reason everyone needs to eat here is for the customer service. The team is great. Me and my family ate here today, our 2 year old was teething and wasnt happy, the staff did everything to try and make him happy. They brought a toy for him, they fussed over him and really did their best. These guys are a perfect example of customer service.

Had a fantastic family meal last night in the restaurant, fish was really lovely had a nice taste and the batter was nice and crisp and thin. It is also dog friendly and the even gave the two dogs a sausage each free of charge as well. 4 really good meals for 30 including a drink and bread and butter. Could not get a takeaway cheaper. Well done you deserve 5/5. Chris

We had fish and chips here one weekend and it was fantastic. The fish is battered haddock and along with the chips is fried in beef dripping, making the batter lovely and crisp with a great flavour. There is take away and sit in. I would recommend this chip shop to anyone that visits Filey!
