Replaced battery on my watches for just 4. Asked the young man behind the counter to look at my automatic watch too and he was able to fix it straight away but didn’t charge me! When I asked why there was no charge, he said he wasn’t certain if his repair fixed the issue...so in case it didn’t, I could bring it back to him to send away for repair. Watch is ticking away and working brilliantly! Great customer service and will be making a charity donation on your behalf as promised :)
I recently called into a branch of Timpsons to find out how much they charge to fit batteries into two watches and was quoted 23. As the watches probably weren't that much I decided to take them elsewhere. The following week I took them to Finesse in Kirkgate Market and they did both watches for 8. Not only that, they did them quickly and the man who did them was very pleasant, being both friendly and courteous. It is excellent businesses like this we should strive to support instead of places like Timpsons. Recommended.
