Small place of maximum 4 tables outside, it's perfect to enjoy a coffee break. The coffee was good and so was the service. A small inconvenience... For small amounts spent you cannot pay by credit card, only cash.

I see the many reviews about the poor service and high prices, but that wasn't exactly my experience. Granted, it wasn’t that cheap but it's similar to most places in a high tourist area. I didn't think it was excessive. The last who served us was lovely, cheerful and chatty, it was really nice to practice my Italian with her. This helped my rating.
11,50 EUR for a plain red wine and a cornetto (packaged ice cream). No receipt! STAY AWAY ! There are plenty of other places where to go.
I loved this place. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's not exactly bargain pricing, but of course it's not the cheapest option in the city--it's too near the Pitti Palace. And that's fine! We found the service incredibly warm, helpful, and enthusiastic. We enjoyed sitting at one of their 4 or so shaded outside tables on an absolutely scorching day, enjoying some (if not cheap) delicious wines. They have an unexpectedly extensive wine menu (at least I didn't expect it, probably just my ignorance). Served some crisp salty potato chips with our drinks, which was very welcome . All in all, a super place to take a break in Santo Spirito. I'd definitely be back any time.
We've been a couple of days in Florence and I can say this is the most honest places I've ever been. Liquor store. Tobacco store. And a solid couple of people managing the place. No tourist BS, just the real deal. Come here and have a beer (or a negroni) at the bar with them. This is the real Firenze
