As with all Parkruns, this was a friendly place to be on a saturday morning. A great start to our first day of tourism in Florence. Only 60ish runners. Lovely route, 3 flat laps round the leafy park with a mixture of tarmac and trail. The briefing was in Italian and English. Lots of tourists took part.

Everyone was supportive and welcoming! Great for dogs as there was lots of space for them to get involved. It would be lovely to help this Parkrun grow :) Thank you!
Big thanks to all the organisers, we had a lovely time celebrating your 1st Park Run anniversary with you, and thanks for the cake and champagne! The route is lovely (nice and flat) and the organisers gave a really good introduction to the course beforehand in both English and Italian. Parking is also easy to find (plenty of it), close to the start and free. There are a few tricky bits to navigate in the course itself, it's all marked out but easy to miss some of the cones, so would recommend doing a lap of the course beforehand if you're on for a fast time. However they had a cyclist to lead, which was an was excellent idea, as I'd probably have got lost otherwise (so thank you lead cyclist!). Everyone was really friendly and there were drinks on hand afterwards. Would recommend it to anyone wanting some exercise on a Saturday morning!
