If you are in the center of Florence, you absolutely need to go to this place. I went there 3 times during my stay, and every single dish I ordered was absolutely incredible. Fresh food, amazing textures, well prepared, so tasty and very affordable. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Very authentic and fresh & delicious! Menu written on the wall in Italian only. We arrived at 7:15 when it was empty and the waitress helped us choose. In 20 minutes the place was packed with locals, we were the only English speakers. Loved the fried calamari, sea bass and pasta!

A bit disappointing. The staff and the chef are very friendly yet the place smells badly of fríed food (I hate leaving a restaurant with myself and my clothes smelling of fry-up!) and the waiter we had was not of real help, as he couldn't really detail the menu. We ended up ordering two \antipasti\ which were exactly the same (although they shouldn't have been, as the name was suggesting different ingredients and preparation). I liked the fact that the \insalata di mare\ was warm, it tasted good but it was really poor in terms of variety (there was only squid!) and it was mixed with cheap salad (to make it look bigger?). The pasta dish was quite generous yet with a bit too much of tomato sauce, it almost looked like a soup. We ordered a \fritto misto\ (fried seafood) and the waiter suggested us to upgrade to \fritto impreriale\, as it was gonna be much richer according to him. The difference was actually only two king prawns. Is that worth an extra 5 euro? I liked that the fried seafood was not greasy yet it was a bit overfried for my taste, as it resulted to be quite dry, crunchy not juicy, it was missing the real taste of seafood. Overall, as my expectations were a bit higher given the ratings, I was a bit disappointed. Yet, the prices are reasonable and it has a pleasant atmosphere: if you are not demanding, you can give it a try.

Such amazing seafood here! All of the dishes that came out we're fantastic and it's a very cozy and friendly environment. I highly recommend going if you are in the area or can make a short trip to get there.
